1. Capital One has a 250,000 mile sign-up bonus for the Venture X Business Mastercard after $50,000 in tiered spend, effectively making this a 7x card for the first $50,000. The annual fee is still $395, and there’s also still an easily gameable $300 travel credit. What’s new is that holders of other Capital One Spark cards can hold this card too unlike before.

You need to apply through a business relationship banker, but calling your closest branch and asking to speak to one is really all that it takes.
  2. Staples has fee free $200 Visa gift cards starting Sunday and running through the following Saturday, limit eight per transaction. As usual, try for multiple transactions back-to-back to optimize your time, and have a liquidation plan in place because these are Metabank Pathward gift cards (the new varieties of these work in places that the old ones don’t though). (Thanks to GCG)
  3. Do this now (if you have a premium Delta credit card): Reprice any existing award bookings and get a mileage refund where applicable, since 15% off of award prices for card holders on Delta metal is now live. For me, this was largely a mixed bag: roughly 70% of my flights priced at the same as their previous booking rate, but there were several that went down by a few thousand miles.
  4. Simon’s volume site has free shipping and no processing fees on Visa and Mastercard gift cards running through February 5 with promo code FEB23SHIP. These are also Metabank Pathward gift cards.
  5. Brex has a 25% transfer bonus to Avianca Lifemiles. Sweet spots:

    – Business class to Europe, especially when regions are fuzzy (35,000+ miles)
    – Business class to South America (50,000+ miles)
    – Economy flights to the Caribbean (12,500 miles)
    – Short-haul domestic US economy (7,500 miles)
  6. Delta’s business credit cards have increased sign-up bonuses through referrals and public links:

Business Reserve: 100,000 miles for $6,000 spend in three months
Business Platinum: 95,000 miles for $4,000 spend in three months
Business Gold: 75,000 miles for $3,000 spend in three months

The personal versions of these cards have similar offers via referral only, the public offers for personal cards are lower. As always, use P2 or a friend’s referral when applying if possible. These are not Metabank Pathward gift cards.
