{"id":8069,"date":"2023-08-08T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/?p=8069"},"modified":"2023-08-07T20:04:13","modified_gmt":"2023-08-08T02:04:13","slug":"tuesday-lifemiles-lifeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/index.php\/2023\/08\/08\/tuesday-lifemiles-lifeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday LifeMiles Lifeline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OneMileataTime\/status\/1688615298537009152?s=20\" class=\"ek-link\"> Avianca LifeMiles online search and booking platform seemingly hasn&#8217;t been working<\/a> for several weeks, and you can find complaints about it in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/churning\/comments\/15f6xtf\/comment\/jubmuta\/\" class=\"ek-link\">just about every nook<\/a> of the internet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au\/community\/threads\/avianca-lifemiles-%E2%80%93-bookings-and-discussion.97884\/page-18#post-2575496\" class=\"ek-link\">that&#8217;s remotely adjacent to frequent flyer miles<\/a>.<br><br>There&#8217;s an easy workaround though, courtesy of Joe M via MEAB slack: you can still search and book online if you use Firefox on a desktop PC or Mac. Mobile browsers, the Avianca app, Chrome, Edge, Opera, and Safari all fail. Booking over the phone works, but that&#8217;s about as painful with Avianca as rowing a boat across the English channel.
