A reader reached out about how the <a href=\"https:\/\/jetblue.com\/\" class=\"ek-link\">JetBlue website<\/a> seemingly doesn&#8217;t have a way to book fully refundable fares, instead currently it&#8217;s only showing quasi-refundable fares, or fares that will refund to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jetblue.com\/help\/travel-bank-credits\" class=\"ek-link\">JetBlue Travel Bank<\/a> rather than to the original form of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JetBlue&#8217;s programmers remove the fully refundable option from their website more often than an <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsoctv.com\/news\/local\/american-airlines-plane-catches-fire-charlotte-douglas-airport-runway\/P3Y6W7L4RJCELLZHIQJQBYHAY4\/\">AA flight catches on fire<\/a>, only to later put it back. I have no idea why they do this, but I do know we&#8217;re currently in one of those &#8220;no way to book a fully refundable fare&#8221; lulls. There&#8217;s a workaround though: the mobile app. To find a refundable fare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Launch the mobile app (iOS and Android both work)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chose your route and travel dates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pick your class of service (anything but Blue Basic)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click &#8220;Checkout&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for the &#8220;Add refundability&#8221; button and click it<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I do admire JetBlue\u2019s programming team for turning refund into an adjective, that&#8217;s next level.
