{"id":4603,"date":"2022-06-01T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T10:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/?p=4603"},"modified":"2023-04-18T11:39:50","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T17:39:50","slug":"american-express-employee-offer-updates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/index.php\/2022\/06\/01\/american-express-employee-offer-updates\/","title":{"rendered":"American Express Employee Offer Updates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>By most objective measures, 2021 and 2022 have been the best years of American Express for churners, culminating with offers for adding up to <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/index.php\/2022\/04\/20\/american-express-employee-offers\/\">99 employee cards with $19,800 in statement credits or 1,980,000 Membership Rewards<\/a> for <em>each<\/em> business card you hold. <\/p>\n<p>Since April though we\u2019ve seen a gradual sunset in AmEx\u2019s reign; some cards have lost these offers entirely and others have seen them cut to a level that just isn\u2019t terribly interesting. There are still three cards with good offers though:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hilton Business<\/li>\n<li>Marriott Business<\/li>\n<li>Lowe\u2019s Business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each has a $200 statement credit after $2,000 in spend when adding an employee card with a limit of five cards or $1,000 in statement credits per batch.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s another catch on these offers too: you can\u2019t add 99 employee cards at the same time, instead you\u2019re limited to five. But either due to a poorly thought out backend-logic system or some other oversight, the offers usually reappear for another batch of five.
