The best use of FlyingBlue is either economy or business class between North America and Europe. You\u2019ll earn $500 for <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usbank.com\/splash\/business-checking\/biz-credit-card-cash-offer.html\">opening a new business checking account<\/a>, depositing $5,000, keeping the funds in-place for 90 days, and making 5 qualifying transactions in the same timeframe (so, five $0.50 Amazon balance reloads) with promo code <em>CKEUM8Z<\/em>. The effective APR here is 40% over 90 days.\n<p><s>The offer doesn\u2019t seem to have any language about only being available to new business checking account customers<\/s>, but it <em>does<\/em> have language saying it\u2019s only available to the addressee and is non-transferrable. Because it\u2019s on a public web-page with a normal URL and a public promotion code on the same page, I\u2019d guess it\u2019ll work for anyone. I calculated the effective savings rate of the bonus and it came out to 3.60% APR or 360 <a class=\"ek-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/b\/basispoint.asp\">basis points<\/a>, I see what you did there Capital One and I guess I\u2019m mildly amused?\n<p>In today\u2019s environment this deal is only mediocre, but having the account is likely to increase your approval odds for a Capital One credit card which is why it bubbled up.
