We\u2019ve got a grab-bag for today:<\/p>\n

  1. The Bilt credit card<\/a> is now wide-open for applications, and based on coverage in the space it\u2019s likely paying a big affiliate commission for new applications too. My affiliate relationship-less opinion:\n

    \u2013 Hyatt, AA, and FlyingBlue are great travel partners
    \u2013 It\u2019s easy to earn 50,000 points by paying P2 $50,000 per year in rent via a check
    \u2013 No annual fee
    \u2013 3x on dining is easy to game
    \u2013 The lack of sign-up bonus is lame (I\u2019d expect to get at least $750 out of a sign-up bonus typically)<\/p>\n

    If I weren\u2019t shooting to be under 5\/24 I\u2019d have gotten this card a long time ago, and I\u2019d expect that I\u2019d already be shutdown too. That said the jury is still out on how quickly Bilt will bring down the axe.<\/li>\n

  2. American Express has targeted more accounts for:\n

    \u2013 20,000 or 30,000 Membership Rewards<\/a> for enrolling in Pay-over-Time (thanks to sctrader)
    \u2013 90,000 Membership Rewards for a no-lifetime language (NLL) Business Gold card, check for a pop up on your dashboard for other accounts<\/p>\n

  3. Citi\u2019s banking division is emulating Will Smith by slapping the credit card division in the face after being told it wasn\u2019t good enough: They\u2019ve got retention offers for checking accounts<\/em> through their automated chat system for between $50 and $200 based on your account type. To enroll:\n

    \u2013 Click \u201cHow can we help?\u201d
    \u2013 Type \u201cclose account\u201d
    \u2013 Choose \u201cChecking\u201d in the dialog and hit next<\/p>\n

    The bonus comes as a statement credit after you make a purchase with your debit card of at least the offer amount.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
