A few of items to watch for this weekend:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Ready for another week of treadmill running with $200 Mastercard Gift Cards? Staples has your back<\/a> with another fee free offer, limit five per transaction. I like it, but I don\u2019t like it as much as the Office Depot\/OfficeMax version<\/a> which ends tomorrow because that one starts out as negative cost and gets even better with Dosh<\/a>. The Staples one is \u201cjust\u201d at-cost spend.<\/p>\n

Related side note: Another card linked program, Ibotta<\/a>, has worked with Staples online purchases in the past but seems to have died for anything useful (thanks to SideshowBob233). <\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> The Citi Shop Your Way Mastercard<\/a> has sent new targeted offers for the second half of August. I got one for $50 off of $750 in spend with the subject \u201cMatthew, open now to unlock your special limited time offer! \ud83c\udf1f<\/em>\u201c, and there are reports of other offers for 15x on utility payments<\/a>, which are honestly among the easiest categories of payments for manufacturing spend. Never heard of this card? That\u2019s probably because as far as I know it doesn\u2019t pay anyone a commission so you won\u2019t find much written in the usual places.<\/p>\n

Incidentally, the Citi Shop Your Way Mastercard is one of the next Miles Earn and Burn Unsung Hero<\/a> cards thanks to its gameablity, monthly spending bonus offers that stack, and no-annual fee. This card is smoking hot.<\/p>\n

Sam<\/a> from Milenomics<\/a> reminded me that the best sign-up bonus for this card is in-store at Sears and includes a free two-liter bottle of soda \ud83e\udd23 in addition to the regular $40 bonus.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> You might be pleasantly surprised<\/a> to find that your Hyatt status was extended to Feb, 2023. Here\u2019s to hoping it sticks for those of you that got it!<\/p>\n
