Let\u2019s roll with the punches today:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> It seems that GoBank<\/a> will no longer be the new blue(bird)<\/a> as of October 31; they\u2019ve sent an email to multiple cardholders<\/a> indicating that the product would be shutting down. I haven\u2019t seen one yet for my account, but I do believe the reports are credible. Unfortunately the replacement Go2Bank card<\/a> so far doesn\u2019t seem to be amazing.<\/p>\n

Hint<\/em>: Allow me to be Alec Baldwin with the phrase: \u201cAlways be probing.\u201d You should always be probing reloadable debit cards on sale at Walmart. The fact this this one died doesn\u2019t mean that there aren\u2019t other alive options.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> There are also multiple<\/a> reports<\/a> that American Express has clawed back the 4x bonus points<\/a> from a prior offer this spring for referring a friend to a new card. Some reports<\/a> suggest that this is true even when AmEx didn\u2019t have L3 charge data (showing what you purchased). It\u2019s unclear why the AmEx RAT team chose this promotion as their flex, but so far I wouldn\u2019t stress about it too much with respect to other MS activities on AmEx cards. I genuinely don\u2019t think it will lead to any further shutdowns.<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Cash.app<\/a> reloads stopped counting for T-Mobile Money\u2019s<\/a> monthly ten transaction limit, which unlocks 4% APR on balances of up to $3,000. (Personally, I like the HMBradley deal<\/a> for 3% APR up to $100,000 a lot better, especially if you\u2019re good at manufacturing very small direct deposits.)<\/p>\n
