This week&#8217;s President&#8217;s Day version hit with the news that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/churning\/comments\/1r5b0cs\/comment\/o5lkl98\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\">United TravelBank hasn&#8217;t been reimbursed f<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/churning\/comments\/1r5b0cs\/comment\/o5lkl98\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\">or American Express airline incidental credits since about 10 days ago<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mr._T\">Mr. T<\/a> and I share a lot of common beliefs about churning, and this event was no exception. I interviewed him for more insight (special thanks for taking the time out of his busy schedule to chat):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[MEAB]: Is it actually broken? <br \/>[Mr. T]: It might be, fool! Or it might not be. Nobody knows yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[MEAB]: Has this happened before?<br \/>[Mr. T]: Yes, I seen this movie before! :L<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/amex\/comments\/k3jhjh\/comment\/goarzt7\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\">ate 2020<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/amex\/comments\/105p4ok\/comment\/khmzza7\/?utm_source=share&amp;utm_medium=web3x&amp;utm_name=web3xcss&amp;utm_term=1&amp;utm_content=share_button\">in early 2024<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/AmexPlatinum\/comments\/1hgpq61\/100_united_travel_bank_deposit_did_not_work\/\">in late 2024<\/a>. This ain&#8217;t our first rodeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[MEAB]: How many times has it been declared dead?<br \/>[Mr. T]: In the last day? Or you talking lifetime? Either way, a whole lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>[MEAB]: If it is dead, is that the end?<br \/>[Mr. T]: <a href=\"https:\/\/milesearnandburn.com\/index.php\/2026\/01\/21\/making-airline-incidental-credits-useful-2026-style\/\">There are other options<\/a> even for Newark and San Francisco chumps.
