After that, we\u2019ll ring in the new year on January 1, 2025 with the 2024 version of Travel Hacking as Told by GIFs though, so no need to be up in arms, but I guess it\u2019s ok if you\u2019re up in legs<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flyertalk.com\/forum\/hyatt-world-hyatt\/2179566-suite-awards-now-bookable-without-agent.html\">Hyatt now lets you apply Suite Upgrade Certificates to a reservation yourself online<\/a>. In the past, Hyatt&#8217;s long had a quirk that when (a) standard suites are available at a property, but (b) standard rooms weren&#8217;t available with points, you couldn&#8217;t book using points and a suite upgrade certificate without working directly with the property and some luck. That&#8217;s now fixed with the new change.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/news.aa.com\/news\/news-details\/2024\/AMERICAN-AIRLINES-AND-CITI-EXTEND-AND-EXPAND-CO-BRANDED-CARD-PARTNERSHIP-PAVING-THE-WAY-FOR-MORE-CUSTOMER-BENEFITS-AADV-12\/default.aspx\">Citi is going to be the exclusive issuer of AA cards in a year and change<\/a>. If you&#8217;re Citi banned, getting a Barclays AA card in the next several months <em>may<\/em> get you back in with Citi when they assume the Barclays AA card portfolio, which is also part of the deal.<br><br>Side note: The Citi AA Business card will often bypass Citi bans regardless of this news.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/secure3.hilton.com\/en\/hh\/customer\/account\/purchase.htm\">You can currently buy Hilton Honors Points at 0.5 cents per point<\/a>, up to 160,000 points.
